Bagiya(rice cake) story

This story my mother used to tell in  childhood , it a folk story .

There was a small boy . He felt eating the bagiya(rice cake dish filled with honey ) .He asked his mother to make it .Her mother planted a tree of bagiya and soon tree was laden with bagiya of all shapes and size .Boy had to climb up to enjoy his favorite food .

There came a old lady(monster)  who used to kidnap children and eat them .

Old woman asked " Give me a Bagiya  , it looks so tasty "

The boy told " I will throw it from top of tree you take it on hand  ."

The lady told " Its so hot , it will burn my hand  ."

The boy told " I will throw it from top of tree you take it on your foot . "

The lady told " Its so hot , it will burn my foot  ."

The boy told " I will throw it from top of tree you take it on your head . "

The lady told " Its so hot , it will burn my head  ."

The boy  agreed to come down and give her some bagiya .

As soon as boy came down , the old lady  caught the boy and put him in the sack she was carrying .

She started taking her to her own home , where she had a daughter .

The old lady told to start preparing the spices so that the boy can be cooked .

The daughter  saw the boy , he had very beautiful hair . She got interested and asked the boy how he got such soft and silky hair .

The boy told " Daily his mother kept him in okhali(a wooden vessel where rice is separated from husk by striking it) and hit him with the musal(a log of wood) ".

The daughter asked "Please make my hair beautiful ".

The boy put her head in okhali brought for him and killed her .

He wore all his dress and helped her mother to cook his daughter which she understood to be the kidnapped boy .

After the old lady went away from house he fled away .
